So if a Norwich fan wants to take his Mum, sister and Aunt and Wife it's gonna cost him £20?

A cockle stall would be more appropriate.
Cheap enough. High sixes all round.

I always tend to get bored in the summer and go to a lot of pre-season friendlies but they are always awful without exception, and I never know why I bother. You get to see players like Eliot Lee fight hard for 90 minutes for no reason whatsoever, occasional nutcases and embarrassments like Bilel Mohsni wearing the shirt, gimmicky crap like the 'Johican' and massive disappointing injuries to key players like Kanoute or Bellamy in places like Stevenage and Ipswich. Yay.

Sadly you're right Fivetide. I went to Grays one season. Best thing was the bar. Bellamy at Ipswich was depressing. He was playing so well until... I remember winning in Bournemouth. That was about as good as it got. I'll probably still go though. Norwich is a terrific place for those not locked in their world of comedy predjudices.

Visited seven pubs in Norwich with a dozen mates at the weekend. All good pubs for drinking in. You didn't feel you were disturbing someone else's dinner by being there.

Indeed. Never seen so many real ales and guest beers in a pub. Only been once, mind. A good walk from the centre.

I like the one owned by Grain Brewery with the big garden out back on St. Benedicts. The Plough.

The Compleat Angler is the away pub. Anyone remember it from the FA Cup final run?
